Love, Where Art Thou?

At the start of relationship, I was coming from a place of heartache and heartbreak. When you chose me, I chose to walk into our relationship with an open mind. I chose to let go of the past and every heart-breaker within it. I chose to stop thinking about the future and just be with you.  let myself fall whole-heartedly for you. There was no question in my mind that you would do nothing less than love and support me for as long as we were together. You surprised me though. You broke my heart into a thousand pieces. And despite the pains in my heart, I never let go of you You were my FIRST real relationship. You were the FIRST guy I gave my everything to. All my friends ask me why I still put up with you. This is the reason why. Once you fall for someone, falling out or getting over them is something that never happens. All you can do is place them in a special in your heart and try to find someone who will.....damn I don't even know how to complete this statement. I think this is because I have yet to find someone new. Hopefully I wont have to wait too long to find the rest of this sentence because I would really like to know the answer.

I've been looking for affection in all the wrong places. I've done so much this semester with so many people. I have a problem. And it sucks cause nobody knows. Everyone looks at me as this big freak but inside I'm not. Im just a girl searching for some attention from anyone who will give it to me. Each time with a new person, I feel I'm getting farther away from the real me.
